Module 6

This module has helped me think about self-directed learners and the role of differentiation in the following ways . . .
I need to be sure that I always determine and consider the different types of learners in a specific classroom. My direct instruction, assignments, and assessments need to reflect the various learners that are in a specific classroom.

Student Assessment

This module has helped me think about student-centered assessment in the following ways . . . First, the checklist are valuable assets to my own personal self-evaluation. Also, it challenged how I think about assessment entirely as a student-centered activity. However, I believe it will be difficult to "let go" of assessment, especially with chemistry.

Assessment Checklist

I believe that I could make my classroom more student centered by having more student created rubrics and peer review. In addition, (and a little off the subject), I would like to move towards a true electronic classroom by using Wikis and blogs much more.
